Danaa Batgerel got his first win in the UFC in style on Saturday night.
After coming up short in his Octagon debut, the Mongolian born fighter made the most of his second appearance while facing off with former Ultimate Fighter: Latin America competitor Guido Cannetti at UFC 248.
It was a highlight reel finish as Batgerel set up a picture-perfect left hand by stepping to the outside and then unleashing his punch that sent Cannetti crashing to the canvas.
Batgerel followed up with a couple more shots on the ground but the fight was already finished as the referee took a quick look and then stopped the fight before Cannetti could take anymore damage.
The fight came to a close at 3:01 into the first round.
With the victory, Batgerel moves to 8-2 in his career with a 4-1 mark over his past five fights with his only loss coming to Heili Alateng this past August.
