PFL is headed overseas then – but this time with a twist.
Rather than simply hold events in Europe, the promotion has launched its inaugural PFL Europe season, which will “showcase the continent’s very weightier talent throughout 2023.”
Thirty-two fighters will be featured wideness four weight classes in a “win-or-go-home” style format. Winners of each weight matriculation will receive $100,000 and a endangerment to earn a spot in the 2024 PFL regular season.
Four events are on the schedule, with one in each quarter of 2023.
- March 25 – Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle, United Kingdom
- July 8 – Verti Music Hall in Berlin, Germany
- Sept. 30 – Zenith in Paris, France (playoffs)
- Dec. 8 – 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland (final)
DAZN will stream all four events during local primetime hours. Specific competitors and weight classes have not yet been announced.
PFL kicks off its 2023 timetable with its Challenger Series, which begins Jan. 17 and runs for eight weeks, concluding March 17. All Challenger Series bouts take place at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla.
The 2023 PFL regular season will follow, with an expected start in April.
